Founded in 2010 by Daniel Alford, Transmission Samples was created to provide producers with practical resources for writing, producing, mixing and releasing music. Today, the site offers a growing catalogue of professional sound libraries alongside free educational content covering music theory, sound design, mixing, mastering and modern music production techniques.
Our products are created both in-house and through partnerships with respected sample pack labels, musicians, producers and sound designers. Every product is reviewed before release to ensure it meets the quality standards expected by modern producers.

About Daniel Alford
Daniel Alford is a musician, music producer and founder of Transmission Samples. He holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Music Production and has spent more than fifteen years creating music, producing educational content and developing tools for music producers.
Daniel plays guitar, drums and piano and has a particular interest in music theory, sound design, synthesis, sampling and modern electronic music production. Through Transmission Samples, he writes tutorials, reviews sample packs, develops production tools and works with producers and labels from around the world.
Since founding Transmission Samples in 2010, Daniel has published hundreds of educational articles, reviews and resources covering music production, music theory, sound design, mixing, mastering and audio engineering. His goal is to help producers better understand both the technical and creative aspects of making music.
His articles cover topics including music theory, mixing and mastering, sound design, DAWs, synthesis, rhythm, sampling and music production workflows.
