Supreme Chops was built around a simple recording philosophy: put skilled musicians in a professional studio, capture real instruments through carefully selected analogue chains, and give producers flexible recordings that can be chopped, rearranged, layered, or developed into complete tracks.
Across the collection you will hear live drums, guitar, bass, Rhodes, acoustic piano, strings, trumpet, vocals, percussion, Minimoog, Prophet, Juno, ARP, Oberheim, Solina, and other vintage instruments.
Analogue recording equipment and professional studio engineering are central to the Supreme Chops sound.
Equipment used across the collection includes the SSL 4000E mixing console, Studer A800 MK III two-inch tape machine, Telefunken M15 mastering tape machine, Neumann U47 and M49 microphones, AEA and Coles ribbon microphones, and Telefunken, Neve, and API preamps.

Jazz Fusion Samples – Kotokid
Jazz Fusion, Neo Soul, Funk, and R&B performed by a complete live band.
Kotokid includes multitrack construction arrangements, short song structures, loops, and one-shots featuring live drums, bass, guitar, Rhodes, keys, analogue synthesizers, percussion, and female vocals with harmonised backing.
The performances move from clean Neo Soul and Jazz Fusion into more distorted and experimental territory suited to Lo-Fi, Breakbeat, Drum and Bass, Jazz Electronica, Soul, and sample-based Hip Hop.

Davis Session
A seven-minute multitrack Jazz session featuring trumpet, guitar, Rhodes, bass, and live drums.
Davis Session includes a complete studio arrangement alongside Jazz chord progressions, guitar phrases, riffs, drum recordings, trumpet performances, synthesizers, basslines, and single hits.
Featured musicians include Teus Nobel on trumpet, Vincent Helbers on keys, Rory Ronde on guitar, and Jamie Peet on drums. The session was performed using a Ludwig drum kit, vintage Gibson guitar, Minimoog bass, and live trumpet.
The recordings were processed through an SSL 4000E console, Telefunken M15 mastering tape, Telefunken V676, Neve 1073, and API 512 preamps.
Dirt Boy – Lo-Fi House
Lo-Fi House, Broken Beat, and Deep House built from live performances and vintage analogue instruments.
Dirt Boy combines live drums, percussion, keys, electric guitar, bass, Rhodes, vocals, effects, and synthesizers including the Prophet Rev5, Roland SH-101, ARP Odyssey, and Solina Strings.

African Fuzz
Afrobeat, Afro Jazz, Funk, and psychedelic Soul recorded through tape and SSL.
African Fuzz combines West African rhythmic influences with acoustic Afro House, American Funk, Jazz, and psychedelic Soul. It includes live guitar riffs, chord progressions, Minimoog leads, acoustic piano, spring-reverb bass, kalimba, brass, acoustic drums, djembe, congas, percussion, and sampler-ready one-shots.
Recorded at 102 BPM and 140 BPM, then processed through a Studer A800 MK III tape machine and SSL 4000E console.
These sounds began as performances, not presets.
Every pack captures the timing, dynamics, interaction, and character of musicians playing real instruments.
Broken Beat Drum Samples
128 live drum grooves and fills with human swing, syncopation, and real rhythmic movement.
These professional drum performances bring live feel to Broken Beat, Acid Jazz, Nu Jazz, Disco, House, R&B, Funk, Soul, and Hip Hop. They can also be chopped and reworked as alternatives to traditional breakbeats in Jungle and Drum and Bass.

Detroit String Samples
A live string quartet inspired by Detroit Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop, and J Dilla.
Detroit Strings captures violins, violas, and cellos across bowed, plucked, and pizzicato performances, with variations of riffs, melodies, chord progressions, and processed string effects.
Recorded between 80 BPM and 130 BPM at Flowriders Studio using large-diaphragm Neumann microphones including the U47 and M49.
Lush Keys
More than 250 piano, Rhodes, and analogue synthesizer loops recorded through two-inch tape.
Lush Keys focuses on melodies, riffs, chord progressions, basslines, pads, and expressive textures played on Steinway piano, Rhodes, Minimoog, Prophet, Juno, ARP, SH-101, Oberheim, Wurlitzer, Polymoog, Solina, and other instruments.
